Considering we are primarily a dropshipping company our "processing days" refer to us taking your order and giving it to our vendor. Then waiting for our vendor to send us the tracking information. Therefore it is in our shipping policy to allow us at least 1-3 processing days. These are NOT shipping days, it is simply time for us to contact the vendor for the product.
There are a few different shipping responses to this question.
During the 1-3 processing days if you are not sent a tracking number you will be contacted.
The processing days are the days we use to check to see if the item you purchased is in stock and ready to be shipped.
If you are contacted during the processing days, it will be to update you on your shipping status.
The standard shipping process is 1-3 processing days and then 2-3 shipping days. However, if your item is not ready to be shipped and needs to be custom created then the standard shipping time will change.
The item will need at least 5-7 business days to be created and then shipped 2-3 business days to arrive.
If you are purchasing from the section " ready to be shipped" those items are currently located in the US and can be shipped and arrive in 1-3 business days. Or if you are local in Omaha Ne you will be contacted for the option of local pick up.
Overall, once your order states the next business day the processing days begin. Which are the 1-3 processing days these are the days you should be receiving tracking information. However, if your item is not in stock or ready to be shipped, we will contact you to inform you of the remaining shipping days required. You will also be given the option of refund.
However, here are some standard advantages and disadvantages of each lace type.
HD Lace (Also known as ultra-fine swiss lace) is currently the most popular among the three lace types. This material is the thinnest when it comes to quality and also the most delicate. HD lace only comes in and is very hard to be detected. This material can also “melt” (blend) into any skin tone due to how fine the lace is. HD lace has long been used in theatre-grade hairpieces and other prosthetics.
Advantages and Disadvantages of HD Lace
Here are some of the advantages of wearing HD Lace Wigs:
Disadvantages:
Transparent lace is the regular lace in a transparent color.
There are four different regular lace colors, including dark brown, medium brown, light brown and transparent. It is important to choose the right color to better match one's skin tone. ( Pre-made units are shipped with light brown lace color, however if you go to build a wig section you can selected a different lace color).
Medium Brown lace -should be noted that the color of this lace is modeled after the color of your scalp, not your skin tone. So before choosing to buy this lace, please separate your hair and check your scalp color, so that you can buy the right lace product. The lace color of this material is also light brown and dark brown, you can choose according to your scalp color. If you have a darker scalp but use light brown lace, it is recommended that you use a pen to darken the color so that it fits more naturally. ( On pre-made units you can only select medium brown, however if you go to build a wig you will have the option to get dark brown lace).
Advantages
- Last the longest
- Is the cheapest
Disadvantages
-Truly only suitable for darker skinned people
- does not blend well with lighter skin tones
- tends to be more difficult to glue down
Pre-made units are any unit under the wig section with these textures,
Basic textures of the pre-made units are:
Density of the pre-made units :
The pre-made units come in 150 density
meaning it has the frontal or closure with 2-3 bundles.
When purchasing a pre-made unit wigs that are frontals are 13x4 and wigs that are closures are 4x4.
The cap size of pre-made units are 22inches, which would be considered "medium" cap size.
Pre-made units are usually ready to be shipped within 2-3 business days.
Attached to this question is a link to a video with our hair company showing the difference between a frontal and closure.
However, here is a list of pros and cons of each type.
Frontals are the hairpieces used to create a natural hairline. On wigs, there are 3 different types of frontal.
Full Frontal Lace is the first type it is the lace that is usually between 13x4 or 13x6. Full frontal lace means the lace is free part style. It can be parted in every section without exposure to the lace.
Frontal Lace "closure" refers to the type of lace on a wig that does not allow deep side parts. The tracks will show on this wig. Although the lace can still be labeled 13x4 or 13x6 it is not free parting.
360 Frontals are frontals that are created in a circle. This allows for the client to wear the frontal around the entire perimeter of the client's hairline from front to back. This type of frontal is the free part.
Pros of Frontals
- Many different lengths and types
- Allows for full coverage from ear to ear
Cons of Frontals
- requires more maintenance
- the sides tend to lift
Closures are the hairpiece used to only cover a small section of a person's head.
Pros
- Low Maintenance
Cons
- Does not cover hairline from ear to ear.
Currently, we are a 100% Virgin Human Hair Company.
Which means we sell stem processed hair extensions. The Stem process allows for our hair texture to stay in the same texture/ pattern it was in at the time of donation.
We currently do not offer raw hair because it does not allow for the textures to stay easily manageable. For example, if someone were to purchase raw hair if it was humid outside the hair might frize up. Considering it did not go through a process to allow the texture to stay, it is more likely to react to heat, etc.
Pros:
- Our Virgin Hair is 100% Human Hair
- Allows for 6months- 2 years of hair wear if maintained properly
- Is processed to allow for curly textures and other hair textures to remain in their shape.
_ It is steamed not processed with acid, meaning the hair has not gone through any chemical processing.
Cons:
- Due to processing it is recommended NOT to over-bleach. Over bleaching WILL cause obsessive shedding and texture destruction.
- Hair can be bleached to blonde (613) however, it is recommended NOT to bleach curly textures, it will change the curl pattern and due to processing the hair might become brittle and shed a lot. So it is recommended that clients just purchase the blonde hair.
HOWEVER, we are currently looking into ONLY selling 613 hair as raw. Otherwise it would be black hair that has been dyed to 613.
Shedding happens due to several things, however overall YES the hair will have some type of shedding but NOT obsessive shedding if the hair is maintained properly.
To prevent obsessive shedding it is recommended that you purchase weft sealer. Weft sealer can be purchased at any local beauty supply store. It will help add extra glue protection on the wig or bundles.
Why does the hair shed?
-Poor hair care
-Obessive styling
-Over bleaching
- Use of sulfate hair products
-Failure to use the recommended shampoos and conditioners ( Aussie hair products are the recommended)
-Failure to use silk bonnet
-Needs to be washed
-Obessive amount of hair products such as: mousse, deep conditioner, leave in conditioner, curling cremes.
What to do if my frontal or closure is balding?
Balding happens when it is time to replace the frontal or closure. More than likely the unit has been wore out!
- over bleached
- styled and manipulated
- obsessively combed brushed or hotcombed
- failure to use correct hair products
- plucked too much
